If you haven't been to school and well educated then you cannot join the NPP - Bawumia's aide
Chairman Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as COKA, a former Afigya Kwabre South Constituency Chairman and an aspiring NPP's Ashanti Regional Chairman has emphatically disclosed that Ghanaians who have not been to school and are not well educated cannot join the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
COKA, who was a special campaign aide to Dr. Mahmud Bawumia in his flagbearership race made this statement during a health walk over the last weekend.
In a viral video captured by Boadu TV and sighted by Masemtvgh, Bawumia's campaign aide was heard giving conditions and taking pride in who, according to him, can join his NPP.
''We speak more languages, this party (NPP) is not like them and if you cannot speak English and you are not well educated, then you cannot join us (NPP); the NPP is not for the villagers.
COKA's recent comment has spark another controversy as many see his comment as a real character of what he did against Kennedy Agyapong prior to their flagbearership elections on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
