“Kennedy Agyapong Not Going Anywhere” – Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu Shuts Down Breakaway Rumours
Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu says Kennedy Agyapong remains committed to the NPP and will attend a scheduled meeting as part of ongoing reconciliation efforts within the party.
Campaign Coordinator for Mahamudu Bawumia and former Suame MP, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, has dismissed claims that Kennedy Agyapong is planning to break away from the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Speaking on Kessben FM during an interview with host Wofa Kofi Appiah, Mr. Mensah Bonsu stressed that Mr. Agyapong remains fully committed to the party and its internal reconciliation efforts.
He explained that the ongoing reconciliation process within the NPP is intended to promote unity following internal contests and disagreements. According to him, rumours suggesting that Kennedy Agyapong is considering forming or joining another political group are unfounded.
Mr. Mensah Bonsu also disclosed that a meeting with Mr. Agyapong has been scheduled in the coming days as part of moves to consolidate party unity ahead of future political engagements.
He expressed confidence that continued dialogue and mutual respect among party members would strengthen cohesion within the NPP.
