Asiedu Nketiah Urges NDC Members to Back Mahama Administration to Ensure Success

The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, has appealed to party supporters to fully support the government of President John Dramani Mahama in order to ensure the administration succeeds and preserves the reputation of the party.

He encouraged members of the NDC to remain loyal and committed to the government’s programmes and policies so that it can effectively deliver on promises made to Ghanaians.

According to Mr Asiedu Nketiah, the success or failure of the Mahama administration will reflect on the entire party and not only on the President.

Speaking during his “Thank You Tour” in the East Gonja Constituency on Thursday, May 14, he urged party faithful to uphold the values of unity, discipline, and cooperation in support of the government’s agenda.

He warned supporters against actions or conduct that could negatively affect the administration’s work, stressing that collective effort will be necessary over the remaining years of the government’s term.

Mr Asiedu Nketiah reminded party members that the government still has about three years left in office and therefore requires the full backing of the party to achieve its development goals.

He stated that if the Mahama administration fails, the political consequences and embarrassment would be shared by the entire NDC and not borne by the President alone.

The NDC Chairman further encouraged members to continuously motivate and support one another while working together to meet the expectations of Ghanaians and strengthen the party’s public image.
