NEIP, VCTF Strengthen Partnership to Finance Adwumawura Beneficiaries and Boost Youth Enterprise

The Chief Executive Officer of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), together with his deputy and management team, has held a strategic meeting with the Venture Capital Trust Fund (VCTF) to deepen collaboration in support of the Adwumawura Programme.

The engagement focused on developing strong financing pathways to enhance the long-term sustainability, scalability, and economic impact of businesses benefiting from the initiative. Both institutions underscored the importance of nurturing resilient, job-creating enterprises as a key driver of Ghana’s economic transformation.

As part of the discussions, the VCTF reaffirmed its commitment to the programme’s Grant Management Committee and announced plans to establish a dedicated Adwumawura Fund. The fund will target high-impact businesses emerging from the programme, providing structured and continuous financial support beyond the initial grant phase.

Officials emphasized that the partnership is designed to bridge funding gaps often faced by startups and growing enterprises, ensuring that promising ventures are equipped with the resources needed to expand, innovate, and create sustainable employment opportunities.

The collaboration aligns with President John Dramani Mahama’s RESET Agenda, which prioritizes youth empowerment, enterprise development, and sustainable job creation as central pillars of Ghana’s economic recovery and growth strategy.

Stakeholders expressed confidence that the strengthened partnership between NEIP and VCTF will accelerate the growth of beneficiary enterprises and contribute meaningfully to national development through innovation, entrepreneurship, and inclusive economic participation.
