Ghana Armed Forces Urges Recruits Who Failed Medicals to Seek Review

The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has issued an important notice for all potential recruits for the 2025/2026 intake. Candidates who did not pass the medical assessment are advised to visit the medical center where they were evaluated to ascertain the reasons for their failure.

Furthermore, those whose medical issues are deemed curable are encouraged to seek treatment, as they will be invited for a follow-up medical review. The GAF has confirmed that this review process will be provided free of charge to all applicants.

The announcement, posted by Ernest Brogya Genfi, Deputy Minister Designate of the Ministry of Defence, emphasizes the GAF’s commitment to ensuring that all eligible candidates have the opportunity to meet the medical requirements for recruitment.

Applicants are urged to act promptly to take advantage of this review opportunity.
